Miami Art Week: Brokers and Developers Ignite the High Season

A striking 50-foot-wide rotating bookshelf, dubbed The Library of Us by Es Devlin, is captivating visitors at the Faena District during Miami Art Week. This installation, set in a circular pool, highlights the district’s blend of luxury real estate and art while celebrating Miami Beach’s iconic coastline. The influx of Art Week attendees has prompted developers and real estate firms to host special events and open houses across the city, marking a vibrant start to Miami’s high season. Although fewer major art fairs are sponsored by brokerages this year, key players like Sotheby’s International Realty maintain significant presence, with partnerships at Art Basel.

Highlighting the week, Mick Duchon and Dustin Nero launched a high-end listing at the Four Seasons Residences Surf Club, featuring a multimillion-dollar art collection. The Elle Residences Miami condo tower developers debuted an exhibit by Daniel Orozco and will host a private event with the artist. North Development commissioned local artists for their Domus Brickell Park project, while Naftali Group collaborated with Italian artist Lorenzo Quinn for JEM Private Residences. Additionally, multiple new art installations are scattered throughout Miami, signaling the synergy between the art world and real estate during this bustling cultural week.
